One owner 2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD in good condition with all maintenance performed. Looks, runs & drives great, no accidents although there is a slight dent in the tailgate. TIres in great shape. Cloth seats and carpet are in good condition with a few stains.

    Price: $14,200
    Milage: 133,000
    Automatic
    TRD
    4x4

Is this the truck I should spend my money on?

Sounds like a good price. Go get it checked at a mechanic to make sure it's all gravy and check the frame and engine mounts for rust.

Thank you I will do that.

Your build is looking good! What kind of milage do you have on your yota? Have you noticed any issues that might be similar if I get this TRD?

Well yes that is correct TacoLover55, but I would love to get some insight from people who have owned similar vehicles. If I am going to spend my money, I would like to spend it wisely.

At half the price of a brand new one, an almost ten year old truck with 133,000K seems a bit high, unless it was pristine (this one is clearly not).

Different economies and all, but my 2004 was a cash deal for $13,000 + ttl in 2009 with 77K miles at a dealership, in excellent condition. I drove that baby until I traded it for $11,500 for a 2014, even with $8,000 in deer-damage repairs!

Man, do those things hold value.

Even so, you should be able to get them to come significantly off the price, or should consider shopping around for one that's been rode a little less hard, and put away a little less wet.

Just my $.02 and your mileage will vary.

The square tube exhaust pipes are a dead giveaway that a waterhead has been driving it...just sayin'.
    I'd keep lookin'
