    Black Sand Pearl factory paint - flattened "au natural" by tree branches.
    As long as your winch line can't touch any sharp edges that would cut it you're good to go. I don't think you can go wrong really. Consider that your winch will spool up in one part of the spool at some point and if the hole for the fairlead isn't lined up properly with your spool it can cut it. Any production front bumper you shouldn't have a problem.

    Anyone have any trouble with the warn ir remote?
    Replaced my batteries and can't get it to work.
    Does it have to be in line of site with the remote box?

    Thanks! I made up the wires myself. I didn't know exactly where I was going to locate the relay so I bought way too much 1/0 welding wire, but now i have plenty left over for the big 3.

    how much does weld wire run?

    Just wondering with the quick jumpers did you put a fuse?

    THose damn 0/1 gauge quick connects are expensive :eek:

    I believe I paid $3.50 a foot for the 1/0 wire. I had originally purchased the other big three wire that was for sale here on the forums but ended up not using it. The insulation was so loose that the wire wouldn't fit in the 1/0 lugs.

    Here are the 1/0 lugs

    Here are the anderson connectors, not expensive!

    Since I'm running a quick disconnect I did not choose to run a fuse or a circuit breaker.

    I also made up a set of jumper cables with a third anderson connector. :D

    WL1025BK

    on Amazon. It's 25' of 1/0 for $83, which is cheaper than what I paid at the local welding supply.

    Which wench are you working with? Basically you need to supply power to the winch, then power to the in/out lines.

    I have a warn zeon 10k. I think i have good idea looking at the wiring diagram. Can i use t-taps on those green and brown wires?

    So the zeons have the newer style solenoids, correct?

    You can use t-taps, but I would avoid that option since they're not 100% reliable. I would make up new female spade connectors. Get a connector for a larger diameter wire and add both the factory wire and your new remote wire to the same connector. Crimp and heatshrink and you'll be good to go.
