I know most of you are probably sick of these posts..... But from talking to three different companies about this I am confused as hell. I have a 2013 TRD Sport with the stock 17" wheels and tires. I just put a ready lift 2.25 leveling kit on the truck. I would like to go with 18" wheels ( hard to find one 8" wide like ready lift recommends). Just looking for suggestions. I am backspaced and offset and tire sized out !!

    Thanks

Hey Frank. Well from the just of it .... don't run a 33" tire it will rub. I don't really want to cut on a new truck. I was told by the guys that installed the leveling kit I could run a 18 x 9 wheel then run a 275/65/18. The wheel I was looking at however has a -12 offset and 4.5 back space. That will push it away from the upper control arm but hopefully not stick out past the fender about .25 inch. I don't want it looking like a skateboard for sure. I have a Shelby GT500 and it was simple finding options on that car..... not for this truck ! Thanks for any help or suggestions.

If you run 33's, you are pretty much going to have to trim. Some people more than others. Pics of GT500, mods?

I bought 9" wide wheels with a 4.75 backspace. I'm riding on 285/70R17. The only thing I had to remove to not rub were the front mud flaps.

I have those exact wheels size you are looking at getting but I am running 285/65-18"s and they stick out past the fender about 1 inch but I love the stance of it and it looks mean thats for sure. This is the only pic I have to give you an idea. They are technically 32.6" tires but you will still need to do some minor trimming and remove your front mud flaps but super simple. Nothing a small dremel cant take care of. I know it sounds sketchy cutting into a new truck but its seriously just cosmetic thin plastic you will need to cut.

With the 4.75 backspace, I have no UCA clearance issues.
