Body style question 2009-2012

Saw a Snug Top XTR camper shell but after talking to a camper store they said that with it being a 2005-2009 shell that it will not fit properly on my 2012 DCSB.

Stupid question but I've been searching with no results, anyone able to assist ?

 

I am pretty sure the a 2009 bed is the same size as a 2012, assuming both short or long bed.

Might be a good idea to check with the manufacturer of the shell rather than the store. I just bought a shell and found that very few of the people in the camper stores Really know what's going on

 

pretty sure they are the same. it's kind of like the 95-00 and 01-04. only the front fascia and tail light lenses changed

I'll know for sure when we fit an Undercover top on my brother's '13 (was from an '09)

 

They are saying the shell is from a 2005

 

You just need to find out if it was from a short bed or a long bed, nothing bed-wise has changed between those years

 

It is definitely a short bed,

As far as matching at the cab any differences if not I will be totally stoked.

 

Only difference in caps is reg cab caps are different than AC or DC
