New to the Tacoma World forums

Sold my Subaru and made my Tacoma my DD, currently looking for a 01-03 Tacoma xtra cab since "Taco" is getting rough in her old age.

After I find my new Tacoma I plan on keeping it mostly stock and possibly doing some preventive mods on it to keep it from rusting.

I'm glad to get out of the Subaru scene in my area because its too crowded with people I would rather not associate with.

 

Sick truck dude. That's a ton of snow, where is that?

I've had taco since I was 15 and its put up with a lot over the years but now I have grown up a bit and learned to play mechanic better than I did in high school I can see some areas where I could have prevented certain things from happening.

But if you're referring to "stock" yeah I know I'll give in eventually, I've been dreaming about tube doors and rock sliders for quite some time.

tonight and I called the guy and he said hes the 2nd owner and the truck is in storage because he didn't want to get salt on it this winter. o2 sensors are bad and the person before him was a old guy.

If anyone knows why are the flares paint matched?
Was it a factory option?
Custom?
Only on 01 tacos?

This may be the one and he said hes gonna hold onto it for me, IDK we'll see.

 

Well after 3 months of late nights on CL, driving, and tire kicking my father sent me a link to a 03 DBL cab and I purchased it today.

So hopefully this week she'll be loaded up on a truck and make it to WI before the week is over.
