So I bought some amber lamin-x fog light covers and slapped them on. Thought I would like the way they looked but after standing back and looking at them not sure I do. I think I should have gone with yellow or stayed with the clear . What do u guys think.

    link no worky

give the fogs some time, some bad weather conditions............and THEN come to a conclusion.

Link doesn't work but I have these. I didn't trust the covering. So far I love the lights and the color and the lens is clear in the daytime.

*EDIT* Link works now. I'm not fond of the covering. Just a personal preference.

now it works............. still, "looks" should be the LEAST of the reason.

    use them awhile.

kinda like saying "I dont like my shiny muffler, should I change it"?

Yeah I was leaning towards yellow but I saw amber on a MGM and thought it looked good. Looks a lot different on white

I had the Nokya yellows before and really liked them, but they didn't last but a few months. I prefer the spending $20 once and being done with it.

What do you mean by you don't trust the covering

I've had the lights on my 2011 for over a year with no issues. Put them in my 13 when I bought it and no issues so far.

As far as the covering I was afraid over time it would start to fade / peel etc...

Do you run yours all the time? Mine were on every time I started the truck.

Ah I see what you mean. I've had mine for a couple months now and love them.

Yeah I never turn my lights off. I noticed on my 2011 the main issue I had with the Nokya was the shitty rubber O ring on the light itself. I took the one off my stock bulb and put it on the Nokya and it fit perfectly then. Didn't have that problem with the 2013 though.

I just like the subtle look and they don't stick out like the covering does. You only notice when they are turned on. Personal preference though.

thanks for all the input. I think ill order some yellow Lamin-x. I had a aspen white STI with yellow fogs and it looked pretty good. I think white on yellow will look better than white on amber

I like yellow, the amber isn't doing it for me.
