A local dealer has this listed,it's a 2010 Auto. with 56 K on it and came from Easton PA. according to him. Is anyone on here possibly familiar with it, or know anything about it ? Thank you.

Whats the name of the dealer just out of curiosity? Used car dealers around here are plentiful and 99.999% of them are dirty or crooked in some way

It's at a place near me in Binghamton N.Y., called Jamies Auto Sales, and he's asking 25.9 for it.

Thanks Spencer, I am about an hour north. I agree about the car dealers, that's why I am trying to find out about it before taking a ride. I'll give the dealer a call tomorrow and see what his story is about it,and if he can narrow down where it came from. I am in the market for a DC Prerunner, but have a friend looking for something like this in 4 WD . It seems like someone put a lot of time and money and thought into the build for a used car lot to end up with it.

Get the carfax and it will tell you the city where it was titled, then go to the regional forums, i doubt anybody did those mods without being on some type of forums

It looks a LOT like a truck I looked at on a Ford dealers lot last year in south Jersey. Can't say for sure though....

He had the VIN listed on the website. I ran it through Google and it was from Easton PA. near Allentown. It was also listed for sale there at a local Toyota dealer at some point, with the same mileage it has now.

I was going to say check for water damage from Sandy. Why would a used car dealer buy it from Southern Pa and take it to New York. Any used car dealers in my area that have Tacoma's don't get rid of them unless they sell it out right. It's hard to find a good used Tacoma. in South Eastern Pa.

There are a ton of used cars in this area with flood damage from sandy. They were totaled out by insurance companies and are now finding there way back into the market. I recently was shopping for a daily driver and kept finding great deals then after research finding the car was a flood car. I even came accross some that were had salvage titles in one state but had a clean title issued from another state, "title washing".

    Check the vin through NICB
