After 30 min of offroading I start to smell oil through the a/c so I stopped and checked and Infound this

    c58ddb32fcbe4f0a91e10dc21b8c5306_ed4432ff1aa98714cd4a468eec0d6b7fc78885e7.jpg

So a friend with a white toyota

    5bb6a4f461f670c245c4f726536b032e_05389e0283a73d186502d744a62dca715983a350.jpg

Pulled me to the road so I could get a tow truck to haul me to my house

    3d1e11010577cd0c9710070e0b4cd6a3_853f4d18aa5aa64ea5bac482957fd672be094d29.jpg

So I got a new hose and refilled the transmission fluid

Do someone sells aftermarket hoses that don't break? Or what can I get so this doesn't happen again?

Its the hose that goes from the transmission to the transmission radiator, you can get to that part of the hose through the wheel well

i think youre tranny will be fine.

I wonder if it was rubbing on something? these motors/trans mounts arent the greatest and everything in the engine compartment moves around quite a bit.

Rock didn't do that unless it got snagged on something, and if it snagged on something it would have eventually pulled off of the hard line, and the hard lines would have been bent.
That was fucked with. Someone "chewed" that with a pair of pliers.

From the first picture it looks like it got sliced by the metal part to the left.

Maybe, but that looks like the back of the TRD "skidplate"... which would be in front of the hose and would only cut it if he's backing up.

Ya... stainless hoses, and in this case, even without AN fittings... that would give enough durability.

That's not a TRD ''skid plate'' its a fox reservoir mount

    5b4f33a8-07f9-430c-9d9e-b5479077456f_2b231511562998a11c5bfb9e3bd8db45ca287f3d.jpg

I figured out it was cut with that mount, I think the hose got in between the mount and the frame and in the woops its moved till it got cut. That's what I think, couldn't be cut by someone because it happened while wheeling. I checked everything before going offroad and everything was ok.

Ya, that's probably it. It's definitely in the right place.

First thing, even if you go in with braided stainless hose, take a piece of fuel line, slice it the long way to make a "C", and RTV the hose around that fuggin edge.
