We need to start a thread where we list all these stealerships by state so others don't get boned by them.

I'd recommend logging your maintenance in a book/binder and keeping the receipts with it if you think you'll ever sell your truck. People love that kind of stuff. A person can tell you that they've only ever used premium synthetics in their vehicle, but how many can actually prove it?

The reason I bought my Celica was because it came with a huge binder full of dealer/independent shop invoices and receipts for maintenance.

This was meant as a DIY repair at home , not a recommended repair for the dealership to complete

Got every receipt saved and a excel spread sheet of each maintenance preformed and date.

    Case in point

    20140413_173733_a4c416fd71074937488158b2eeef4ae9db9d69b9.jpg

I even take pictures of the maintenance being preformed so it will time date stamp it and include that with the files.

Not only would I tell them they're paying for it. But I'd make them pay for me to take it to a shop of my choice since they're the idiots who stripped it out. If there techs are to stupid to even change the oil without messing up. No way would I let them do any real work

    LOL!!

exactly..on a scale of difficulty..i'd say, oil change is a 2..air in tires is a Zero.

helicoil..an 8!! no way in hell, i'd let a bunch of yahoos that cant handle a TWO, do an eight!!

I'd say a helicoil is about a 3. Its pretty easy, but if you cant change oil, you DO NOT want that person installing a helicoil
