I don't know. If it gets totaled it might be that the cost outweighs the value of the vehicle.
    I'm curious if it will.

You might be better off by getting a new cab especially if you enjoy your truck. The cost of a new cab is definitely less than a beater car and you get to keep your truck. Best option in my opinion

yes its totaled. The way our cabs our constructed it would cost a fortune to repair all that.

The windshield line on the roof is really mashed bad. Would take some duckets to get it right again.

Skip the ins claim and fix it yourself. Rollover here in WA state will jack up your rates incredibly after claiming it.

Now that seems crazy. There can't be very many people on this board who can take a multi thousand dollar hit (skipping the insurance payout) to avoid increased rates. Then again, I don't know what the deal is in WA. It sounds a little like the roof touching the ground rule though.

If it comes down to it, perhaps the OP would have to skip the collision coverage once he gets it back on the road.

For perspective, I bought my tacoma with a 10k insurance payout when I "totalled" my '04 Honda element. It looked way better than the OP's truck.

It might need full coverage until payoff,,if that is the case.

This was my thought too. Based on the age of the vehicle, it probably wouldn't take a whole lot to total it. That being said, it doesn't look all THAT bad. Certainly fixable if you were to buy it back.

Cost to repair vs the value. Certainly looks totaled.
Insurance company usually finds 3 recent purchase/sale of a vehicle like yours (year/milage) and offer you the average
