I like those wheels Micah... & why haven't you found me a spindle w/wheel bearing hub yet ??.....

 

I have a thing against chrome anything and light colored wheels especially on a dark vehicle.

I am going to sell the stock wheels and tires for some of the cost back.

Just raced the So Cal National Hare and Hound, whooped my ass! Literally must have hit 4000 whoops at least. And my suspension isnt quite right, made for some interesting moments to say the least.

I think my kidneys are bleeding

I just removed the crystals on my circuit board, they call me the white MAMBA!

 

Ask me again tomorrow..I had the suspension done on my new bike and it was set up about 2 spring rates too high, hardest ride I have ever done. And I ride a LOT!

First time ever in a race I had the thought cross my mind to quit, but I quickly realized I am not a pussy soo....

Yo speed I have about 6-8 months before I'm ready to jump back on my bike and hit some trials. I'm going to stay away from the crazy stuff and stick to trail riding. I'm still scared to even hit a track

 

Bobby, which antenna do you and your wife have? Where did you get the mount that folds.

If would've kept the cb I had, I wouldn't have to buy another one.

Frank get a 2meter race rAdio if your buying something new. So much more range and so much more clear.

 

Get your ham license. It's a day or 2 of studying. I did it over a week on my breaks at work. a 5 dollar test, and you're done. 100x the range and CLARITY of cb. plus you can get a cheapo chinese handset that actually works pretty good

Do you really need a license or is it just for if you get caught with it

 

Most of the time we run on race frequencies, which are a grey area. If everyone would get their license things would be much better. It is seriously not hard. There are 300 possible questions. If i remember right the test picks 20 of them. get 70% and get your license. There are 100 free study guides, books, flash cards and even apps available to study. They're not filled with a bunch of information you're not going to need. They only have the questions and answers to the test.

As for getting caught with it. The ham transmits more than a cb and can even be used for data (though im not 100% on how to do this). with the right radio you can talk to people on the other side of the world from the driver seat of your truck. Knowing that I wouldn't recommend just picking a station at random and hoping you don't get caught. Read a little bit, try a few practice exams, spend $5 and take the test.
