Thanks for the input guys. Ya I think I'm going to remove the skid plate and show the tech the cam adjusters on the lower control arms. Maybe a couple of carne asada tacos will get the tech off his ass. Thanks again for the help.

I started a thread in the 2nd gen forum before I found this. Rubbing the frame on the drivers side. 255/85/16s on an 05 AC 4x4 with OME 886s and LR UCA. The alignment shop after I lifted didn't touch the UCAs. I'm going for another alignment after I replace my tie rod ends tomorrow. Any advice on how to get my tire away from the frame?

Window tint, debadged, fog-lite anytime mod, aftermarket taillights, low profile toolbox modded with three mountain bike mounts, JVC dvd headunit, Kicker hideaway, Fox 2.5" IFP with DSM UCA's, Allpro standard (soon to be expedition) leaf pack, 255/85r16 BFG KM2's, 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers, powdercoated gloss black TRD offroad rims with color matched center caps.
Okay so about 6-7 months ago I installed a lift: Fox 2.5" IFP non resi w/standard spring [700lbs I believe], DSM upper control arms, stock rims [powdercoated] with 255/85r16 BFG KM2's. Ever since the install I have been watching the tire wear very closely and am starting to get frustrated not being able to get the tires to wear evenly. I have had the alignment done twice since installed and just had checked today for good measure. I can take more specific measurements from hub to fender or whatever you guys need.. I've taken it to two separate shops who have checked out: wheel bearings, lower ball joints, upper control arm bushings, ect.. to try and figure out what the heck is going on with no concerns of worn components. Here are the alignment specs from today.. According to several other threads the camber and toe are close to ideal and the caster could be tweaked a little closer to 2.5-3*. Does anyone have any advice? !

The caster does not affect tire wear. Can you be more specific about what the problem is? In what way are the tires wearing unevenly? Just a guess but maybe less negative camber is what you need? Maybe have the cambers zeroed and get the max caster you can get would be an improvement in wear and handling.

likely impacted by the amount of backspacing of your wheel. Are you using stock wheels? Stock wheel I believe has 5"+ of backspacing. Aftermarket wheel such as SCS wheels, or TRD, or FJ wheels have a backspacing of 4.3 - 4.5" meaning they sit less inside the wheel well and put the tire further out away from the UCA.

You can use spacers on your hub, to move the stock wheels further out from the hub to achieve the same result.

Are there any pictures pointing out the adjustment points for camber, caster, toe (alignment in general) where I could gain personal knowledge about my 2014 DCSB 4x4 TRD OR?

Yes...I've searched. But my wife demanded I get off the computer over an hour ago and has now stopped delivering me beer in my home office.

I just got my alignment after installing 884's and a rear leaf for approximately 2" lift all around. My front right tire appears to have positive camber, but not the left. I really don't want to grind down these beautiful new Duratracs. Here are my alignment specs. I'm going to have to take it to a different shop but would love to be armed with some knowledge going into this again.

    Here is my printout.

    Hey
Just had an Icon 3 leaf, 5100s, and 884s installed.
Is this good alignment good or do I need to bring it back?
I dont have any vibes, or wandering.
    Thanks

Got my alignment done after my lift. I have fox coilovers and total chaos uca. I'm pulling right and my steering wheel wobbles at 40ish to 60ish mph. Here are my numbers. Would getting the toe and camber closer to 0 help?

I got an alignment and after my 4runner (1st gen taco specs) has a drivers side toe of .02 degrees and passenger of .1 degrees. Is that anything to worry about?

I wouldn't worry too much about that, but they should have dialed it to 0

Too many to list. See build page. Link in signature
.1 Toe is ALOT. .01 toe is more reasonable. Both should be as close to 0.0 as possible. if you meant to say .02 and .01 then your good. but .02 and .10 is not good. Should be under .02 on both

I just got an an alignment check and my wheels balanced yesterday and found out I have some issues. Could someone please tell me what is going on. My truck is drifting way off to the right and a have a lot of sterring wheel shake at certain speeds. There is a 3 in lift on the truck that the dealership put on for me and I have only had the truck for about six months. It had vibrations to begin with but I thought it was normal to some extent for lifted trucks. I am taking it to the dealership on Monday and hopefully my warranty will cover it.

the off road place said I am essential dog tracking down the road with the rear. They told me that when it was installed it may of got put back together wrong and something may not of sat right. Hopefully it is nothing to do with the frame or axle.

*also, it says on the print out (just now realizing this) that I was running 245's but I am actually on 33's. would that make a difference when they put on the alignment machine?
