    Beautiful truck man!

BTW, I see that you posted your location as NW NC. Are you near the Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, or Grandfather Mountain area?

Very true! Here's mine with 5100's @ 1.75 with 285/70r17 Good Year MTR's BUT with FJ cruiser wheels. Identical in specs to the 17" Tacoma TRD 5 spoke wheel except for the offset being .75"'s different (sticks out .75"'s more than OEM Tacoma wheels.

It does actually. I was kind of surprised. I honestly looks like I did 3"/2.5". Oh well, with my car, I would add/reduce weight in the rear to dial it in lol, but my OCD has not thrown a fit just yet:) Honestly, that is the most level pic I have due to uneven ground. Check my Flickr for other pics. My last truck was similar…

    Thanks!

I am in Wilkes, but visit Boone often (about 30 miles). Where are you?

EDIT: I see you are in Miami. I have an Audi buddy from Miami that has a condo in Chetola.

i run toyos LT during the summ, fall, spring. Very stiff tire. does not roll like the p rated ones. I like the ride though. I run duratrac in the winter on a different wheel setup

please consider i like a more stiff ride since im use to driving on lower profile tire cars so it may not be for you

I'm still on stock UCA's. i haven't put in the budget for new ones yet, i get a small rub at full lock on the lower arm but i just don't make hard turns until i get new ones.

Looks good! Getting my Icon stage 1 lift tomorrow and am ordering the same wheels this month when they come back in stock. Just curious what trimming, if any, you did to get those to not rub? I am getting the 17x8.5 SCS with 285/70r17's with some toyo at2's so should be similar to your setup.

3inch rough country lift, 285/70/17 nitto terra grapplers on factory 17 inch 4 runner wheels
I have a 2005 Tacoma TRD off road. I recently installed a 3inch rough country lift. I also bought factory 17inch 5 spoke Tacoma wheels. I put nitto terra grapplers 285/70/17 on them. They look, ride and fit awesome. I didn't need to trim fenders or wheel wells. The only place I rub and its when turned probably 80% is on the frame of the truck. Thinking of installing wheel spacers. Any good suggestions on brand and size? I don't really want to stick out past the fenders but I also don't want to rub my frame image.jpgimage.jpg
