$8000 bucks in hail damage on my 2013. Here are some of the pictures.
The Hail damage took place in Denton Texas on a trip to visit my Son and his family. Baseball size hail smashed everything. As you see below they have taken the truck apart and they have removed the roof. Takes 2 1/2 weeks to fix the whole thing. Oh and on the way back home to Kansas we stopped in a small town in Oklahoma at the the local Arby's and they had a 4.4 earthquake. I'm glad to be home and get the whole process started. Nuts.

 Wow!! I can't believe the size of the dent from the hail on your roof! Hopefully it didn't smash through any of the windows!

Between the tornadoes and hail here in OK, I'm ready to leave this place and get back to a coast lol

Every hail storm=hail sales by the dealerships, pretty funny seeing all the damaged cars on the road but I guess if the car is being bought to stay with that owner forever, guess it's not a big deal.

Well it's a big deal to me. I'm older and plan on keeping this truck for 15 to 20 years, so I didn't just didn't take the check and put it in my pocket. Oh by the way it's also going to cost me $500 because of the deductible. Yea I hear ya on Oklahoma. I mean I'm from Kansas so you know how it is with tornadoes. But earthquakes is a little over the top for me.

Had baseball size hail beat the snot out of my 97 Z71 years ago. It's no fun. Was at the olive garden with the wife and all I could do was look out the window and mope. Got all mine fixed with paint less dent removal and it looked like it never happened.

People scared of earthquakes has always confused me. I've lived in CA my entire life (38 years) and we have had one major earthquake in 1989. The lives lost in that earthquake is far less then the annual loss from hurricanes and tornados.

I was in the same storm as that but a little ways east of Denton. Luckily the hail had downsized to golf ball size by the time it got to me. I threw several old comforters over my Taco as soon as I recognized that awful sound of random "rocks" beginning to hit my roof. I only ended up with a few dings from that round.

I saw pics of plenty of cars with holes thru their windshields mainly from around the Denton area. Sorry about your truck, man!

Ouch! Sorry to hear, I know you just got the truck last year. I'd be pissed if that happened to mine. Good luck getting it fixed!

Holy crap! What did they use to cut off the top, a jig saw? You would think the cuts would be a little better then that! OMFG

I would want to see how they replace this before they paint it. Fill the entire top of your truck with 10 pounds of body filler?

Noooo they clean it up and square things off on the top of the truck so all the edges are straight before they put a new one back on. Underneath the trim on your roof are all kinds of welds that hold your roof on. First grind down the welds then they have a small air hammer that peels the roof off, then they can pull the rest of it off by hand. Everything is neat and clean when they are done. I watched them do the roof. It's really freaky to watch someone cut the roof of your truck off.:angrygirl::annoyed:
