What battery everyone running?

die hard platinum batteries are rebadged Odyessy batteries which are good stuff. seems to be better then optima. After optima got bought out the quality of their batteries seems to suffer.

daily beaters i prefer interstate or platinum if you can afford it

 

I was always told to stay away from gel batteries like optima... but thats just my .02 because thats always what ive been told... just passing it along lol

 

Is that the stock holds or modified?

modified the stock holder, bought the universal j hook kit from wal-mart and drilled out one of the stock j hooks.

 

Optima Red Top, great battery and not a heavy boat anchor.

i got mines for 220 when they had a sale, just wait for an online sale. That's what i did.

 

IMHO, for automotive applications, unless the voltage regulator has been set up specifically for a gel cell battery, staying away from them is good advice. Optima's are spiral wound AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) Valve Regulated Lead-Acid batteries and not gel cell VRLA batteries.
