I really wanted a tonneau plus canoe/ladder/utility rack configuration and the lack of stake pockets on the Taco makes the options limited. I didn't like the tri-fold BackFlip CS, and I already had an Access tonneau I kept when I traded my '06 Tacoma.

The local ADARAC dealer had a 6' 6" Adarac fitment for a GMC (I think) The first thing I had to do was cut it down. I cut it to about 5' 10". The picture shows the length I cut off from the other end of the longer piece.

Next I bolted on some tabs that I purchased at the local Home Depot. I used SS flathead bolts countersunk on the bottom. Welding them on might've been a better solution.

A view with three tabs installed.

The 'tabs' fit between the Access cover plastic 'extenders' and the side rails.

End result. The install did leave a small gap between the Access rails and the bed rail lip (the width of the tab). I just filled the gap with black silcon. Still reasonably waterproof.

How are you liking your ADARAC, a year after installing it?
