Haha..when I first met my wife she had a 96 on 33s. She had no problem getting in, all 5 foot 1 of her. No steps either..and it was especially funny a few months later when I learned she had horrific back issues.

 

Yup she's a keeper, well for most of the month anyway.

 

I was 5' 8" 30 years ago, but not now. I have no trouble getting in, but to get out I have to drop the last inch or two to the ground. My truck is stock height.

I keep a fold-up stool behind the driver's seat. My elderly mother has figured out how to get into the truck without the stool now.

Back when my father was still alive, he called me to take him to the emergency department. I did not bring the stool because he was a much taller man than I. He had trouble getting in, but eventually managed.

I am not a fan of steps. The first time I used a step to enter a 4wd, I hit my head on the roof. Also, it is easy to brush against steps and get dirt on your pants.

 

My wife wouldn't get in a Chevy and I had to put a step on her bone stock old 94 Toyota.

Yah not bad for just turning 40 and popping out two healthy kids. She's one of those women who cares about what she looks like and I definitively appreciate that.

 

I'm 5'8" and I noticed that the truck is a little "high" for me kinda have to go up on a tippy toe. I make it work and like it higher up than my old tacoma. I did however get Predator step bars with having an elderly grandfather with three artificial joints and a mother who has difficulties with some joints as well. My partner is 6'2" so it's not an issue there for him, he does make fun of me though for the tippy toes. Grrrrrrrrr
