i still kinda new to this site. but so far every question has been answered so my last post was bout 31s rubbing. now i have figured out that i has 3:58 gears. so now the question is how many of yall have 3:58 gears pulling 31s. i have heard from one that it is a big difference. so does anyone have this set up how does it work out

So, do you have 31s and 3.58s right now? Are you looking at going with 4.10s?

4.10's. with 5 spd would be right as long as you don't plan on going much larger on tire size. Should be able to find some used here on tw. There might still be a group buy from eggs still going on. Check out group buy thread.

31s and 3.58s should be no problem.

Bought my 95.5 new. It was 2.7 5 spd. Came w 358 gears. I'm here to tell you with 17 yrs on those gears. Truck stock tires were 225/75/15. Put 31's on and truck lost so much performance that I replaced back to stock in 1 yr. Would have done it the next week if I had the $ at the time. 31's and 358 gears suck. Obviously most never drove on these turd gears made for flat highway roads!!
Don't get me wrong though, wouldn't trade it for two of any other makes. Still rolling!

235/75r15 would be a little beefier and shouldn't change the gearing too much
