I am going to lift the Tacoma and put rims and tires on it Chorme (White Truck) I was wondering I am a older family man, 2kids dont want it to be to high but i am seeing photos and like the lift but not sure if i should get a 3" lift or more. and what ever lift you suggest what size rims and tires should i get that would fit properly? Can I do 20" rims 18", 17"? and what size tire and tread

Remember I dont off road much But I pull different Boats 19 to 26 or more foot. Just a couple miles so no problem there but i am worried about not having the locking rear end on the ramp. Thanks

For what you described, this lift would fit you well. Adjustable from 1.5"-3" so if you set it to 1.5" and want more you can adjust it. And vise versa. Look into some new UCAs if you want full 3" and a either a 3-leaf progressive leaf pack (Wheeler's) or a full replacement pack for the rear (Dakars). I can't recommend more than 3"; too much money, lose clearance due to having to cut the cross member and replace it with the drop bracket. You could to a 3", wheels and tires, and a locker (if you're that concerned) for about the cost of a 6" lift. (Disclaimer: My guess-tamation does not include shipping costs, installation, and does not reflect personal preferences, look, style, etc.)
