    Gents,

Thought I might pass along a link to the Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival that Main Line Overland is hosting near State College, PA. They already have a bunch of sponsors lined up and attendance is looking to be strong.

Event Location: The Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival is held on a 200 acre working farm located in the Mountain Ridge and Valley section of Pennsylvania just south of State College, in the heart of the Mid-Atlantic Region.

    Camping and Accommodations:
    • On-site family friendly camping is available and highly encouraged.
    • The event site is a beautiful 200 acre farm with rolling hills, and views that will take your breath away
    • Porta-Pottys will be provided at the venue
    • Access to potable water will be provided at the venue
    • Electrical connections will not be provided for camping
*Dogs are allowed, but must remain leashed at all times (strictly enforced)*

What comes with your weekend pass?
    • A camping location for July 11-13th, 2014.
    • Access to key vendors in our industry to see and experience the products they offer first hand.
    • A BBQ Dinner Saturday Night July 12th.
    • On-site training and demos provided by Overland Experts as well as classes and seminars on key areas of interest to overlanders (*The final seminar schedule will be released as we get closer to the event.*)
    • Each Weekend Pass will also include a complimentary Purple Lizard Map of Bald Eagle State Forest
    • Automatically entered to win sponsor provided raffle prizes

    Other Cool Details:

Overland Experts (OEX) will be providing on-site training and demos at the 2014 Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival. OEX applies the scientific method to off-road driving, teaching people they can drive simple to impossible “roads” without ruining their vehicles, themselves, others, or the environment. We are very excited to have them on board as they will provide yet another dynamic element to the event!

The Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival is partnering with Purple Lizard Maps to provide information on local trails and must see places. Each Weekend Pass registration will come with a complimentary Purple Lizard Bald Eagle State Forest Map. Big adventures need big maps: 24 x 36 inches double-sided and printed on waterproof synthetic paper. It will get you there; get you back and if something goes wrong (what could go wrong?) it can even keep you dry. No batteries or cell towers needed, ever. See all your options with Purple Lizard Maps.

Stock vehicles are more than welcome and the event itself is accessible to all vehicles (cars too). There is plenty to see and do nearby without any type of modifications, and many of the 4x4 roads in Bald Eagle State Forest are safely passable in your truck. Hoe to see you there!

We were all there once! And it's not a bad place to be at all in a Toyota 4x4! I love seeing a stock rig take others to school...
