Alright fellas and ladies, let's see your bull bars. Give the brand and where you picked them up if you can. I'm in the market for this add on and I'm sure I'm not the only one out there looking for pics. Thanks.

Just no.... Makes your truck look like it has a under bite and offers little to no protection. If you're wanting to mount lights go with a N-Fab or something similar. (Yeah... I know... you didn't ask my opinion)

    +1

They kill your approach angle, offer no additional protection, and end up being damage-multipliers.

A minor hit that the stock bumper would rebound from results in the bull bar bending, damaging itself AND structures under it.

They look good in catalogs from a 3/4 view and even head-on, but from the side....

You can get the bar directly from the N-Fab site or you can get on Amazon and they are "sometimes" sold under the "Smittybuilt" name IIRC. Same exact bar though.
I got mine off Amazon and it was a N-Fab bar and was less than $150.

Good points. I think I'll hold off on the bull bar. Although TacomaOffCourse's truck looks sweet with his on. But his taco is blk and mine is silver so It wouldn't look as nice. Hmmm... now that I have the bull bar on the back burner I guess I have some dough to throw into my taco elsewhere. Suggestions?

I think that's what I want to do. I'd like to make my Taco a bit more mean looking. Suggestions?

I'm looking at the SOS Concepts Hybrid Bumper. It looks sick ;)
Just check out the official vendors on here. Plenty to choose from. The Relentless Fab plate bumper is sick too.

unahabyz_2524dcae1469c7df4303951dd37d8077427b4ae1.jpg installed this myself last night and blacked out my emblem as well. The bull bar is a Westin ultimate bull bar black with a stainless steel skid plate. I bought it on eBay for $276 but Westin is a more expensive brand for bull bars. I got a lot of complements on this today and the install wasn't that hard. Overall VERY satisfied with my purchase.
