We have ordered the bedding and furniture and my wife and her sister are going to register today.

I'm glad I picked up a part time job. I'm not sure I could handle hearing about the pros and cons of the various baby bottles.

^^^ what he said :D Since doc's can only guess a due date, he should wait at least a week or even two before inducing. Induced labor sucks rotten eggs!!!

And watch that scissor happy motherfucker doesn't do an episiotomy if it's not necessary. In fact, just knock that asshat out if he goes for the scalpel or scissors and the child isn't birthed yet.

just found this thread this morning, spent like an hour reading all this stuff...

I can chime in although a little late...7 months ago the preggo days were OVER...now the post Preggo days are here...

lsocoee, you think she is loosing her mind now? Just wait...At about 7 months she forgets everything. Up until 8 months, mine was fine, not complaining, not too bad of mood swings....But 8 months, she wanted that thing OUT...Then the mood swings started, and the forgetfullness, and the complaining, and the not wanting to do anything...

One piece of advice, Dont know how you guys feel about being in the room when your kid is born, but DEFINITELY do it. They were short on nurses, and I had to hold one of her legs and watch the monitors and everything...It was pretty freakin cool. I even cut the cord. Damn thing is like a piece of leather...took me like 45 seconds to do it...She was like, CUT THE DAMN THING ALREADY...lol

First few weeks kinda suck, all they do is lay there, eat, sleep, pee, and poop. But once you get into the moving around stage, and the sleeping through the night part, it gets fun. My boy just started crawling this week and he says DA DA all the time...

Good luck guys, hope you all get healthy kids. No colic, and good sleepers.
