Got my Tacoma more then a month ago after a long exhausting search.

I was a little hesitant to buy the Baja Tx, since I know a lot of guys here don't like them, and seem to think the truck is a waste of money. So I was gonna go for the 2014 dbl cab 4x4 trd instead, then modify it later. Then I found out with the installation cost of new shocks, coils, trd bead lock wheels, exhaust ect, it wouldn't save me that much unless I install it myself. Even then the savings would be a grand or two. Which is a ton of money, but my time is worth money :D. Was also gonna wait for the 2015 trd pro, but I don't like hood scoop's or the new front grill. So I took the Baja tx for a test drive and it drove really well, and the lift is just right, cause I plan on doing only some light off roading, and use it mostly for carrying parts and stuff when I go to auto mechanic school.

Anyways this is my first truck and for me, its perfect :)

Congrats on the new truck! Very nice looking truck but let me warn you, you are going to want to keep modifying it! It never stops! LOL! Good luck with the truck

    I like the Baja :D
Some don't like them, but who really cares.. buy it because you like it.

BTW, your center cap 'TRD' cover is installed upside down.

Congrats! I have a 2013 black Baja...I really like mine. I had done a ton of research last year on mine and test drove all of the different models...and as soon as I saw it and test drove the Baja ....I knew I had to have one if I could swing it. Im glad I waited the 2 months for mine to come in. Good choice you made(IMO)! Enjoy it!

That's what I thought too but then I saw it in the dealer with a 2014 sticker on the window. It was made for another customer who changed there mind. Its the LT265/70R16.

Beautiful truck...there are still days I regret not going with the Baja and being done with it.

I wish Toyota put the 265/75 tires on them from the factory. That was one of my main hangups with not going with that package (and not finding any locally that weren't loaded to the gills to the point of being ridiculous).

They ride great right off the lot. Black is nice when clean. I prefer white in TX because of paint fade.

Buy base models, so your not paying for a Toyota upgrade that you're going to remove and upgrade again.

Who says he's going to remove it. I not going to remove mine. I've had 3 tacomas over the years and this one I am 100% satisfied with.
