    Howdy,
well I must be going blind. On my 2012 Tacoma I cant find a stick for checking my auto trans fluid level. I have looked many times and if it is there it must be hidden. Anyone know how to check the level??? Thanks

It is a sealed transmission. No dipstick = more money for the dealership.. There is a thread on here somewhere that shows you how to do it yourself though.

I'd read on TW these new auto trans were sealed units so I was really glad mine came with a dipstick. Mine is a '14 with 2.7L engine and 4 speed AT. Are the sealed units only on certain engine/trans combos? Or did Toyota rethink the whole sealed unit idea? Here's a pic of my dipstick. I know that sounds funny. :)
