Like the title says it's cheap and easy. I spent less than 15 bucks on everything.

    Materials:
1 inch tie down rings( only one bolt hole)
    http://www.cargogear.com/OneItemInfo.aspx?partnum=SGDRING
    T30 star bit and driver.
Either a ratchet strap or bungee cord ( I vote ratchet strap. It's stronger)
Beer of choice and bottle opener.
Now if you order the same rings as I you will need a few more tools
A drill and a 1/4 inch drill bit and some vise grips.

    First gather your materials
    a8eru9ug_dd4e48ed5e8edd18216f4269e618b5bc99f1a448.jpg

Next remove the four bolts on the bed side compartment of your choice using the T30 bit and driver. asemepu2_bff3551d2a65f5454225b4757dc5725153b204a2.jpg

Drill out the d-ring mounting hole using the 1/4 drill bit.

    Now bolt down d-rings
    zuza9y6y_8bb3986af06dbf4110b99fa35fff2656ed83d8b3.jpg

Place your water jug of your choice between the d-rings and ratchet or bungee it securely.

Now drink your beer if you haven't already finished it.e7a8uhem_d19e3b3ca8633e3893ded0903e8479feafed6b05.jpg

Good luck is all I've got to say. Finding some that around the one inch size is the issue

Do you think the d rings in the bed would work or are they too big? They seem pretty heavy duty. Great post

The ones I bought were for a tie down point , the mounting tab was flat , meant to bolt down with a bolt on either side of the ring , I folded it over with a vise
