I've searched, and come up with dead links....

Anyone have a write up that isn't in a word doc that sends it somewhere else? I did this on my first gen, and it took 10 mins to do....just can't find it for the Second Gen.

    Thanks

    Works.

Did that on my '03 Tundra and my buddy's 4-runner.

I haven't done it on the Taco because I leave the cell charger and my little flashlight plugged in 24/7.
But I did unplug the ignition key alarm so I can leave the key in ACC with the doors open and not have to listen to the whistle.

Did this on my lunch break. Took about 30 minutes start to finish.

More importantly, how in the hell do you turn the keys in ignition chime? That would be amazing.

Split the clamshell and unplug the white 2-wire connector on the bottom of the side of the ignition cylinder closest to you.

It can be done in about 2 minutes with a philip's screwdriver and a plastic knife.

instead of modding the relay, Just put a jumper between the two main legs of the relay. This could be done by wrapping a wire around both legs, or pulling the whole relay out and using a short piece of wire with two male spade connectors.

Yeah....this is what I want to do...way easier than what's on Tundra Solutions...I did this on my First Gen. Took like 2 mins. But I need pics...

    Exactly.

I waited until after I got the spiral cable recall done because I figured the dealer would reconnect it.
My tech was VERY curious how I got cruise control and intermittent wipers on my 2.7 regular cab 5 lug.
Told him $200 and 10 minutes!
