Well my rims finally came after rimzone.com swore to me they were being overnighted 3 nights in a row. They showed up yesterday standard freight like I figured they would. They bsed me about them being shipped for a week for whatever reason. Anyway I got em checked em out took em to work today and had time to stop by and grab me a set of General Grabber AT2s ina 265/70/16. These tires are sweet and priced great too. Moto metal 955s chrome 16 x 8. I couldnt be happier with the truck now. Heres my single cab black 09' 4 x 4.

I like the flaps, but to each thier own...
    side note
unless paint has changed in the past 5 yrs ... on my old truck, I had no flaps , wide tires and ended up with 100's of tiny road rock dings

Dude, I think you found the rims, wife permiting that are gonna be on my tacoma... good choice!

Yea I am gonna keep the flaps on for now because of the black paint. They dont bother me and the truck looks fine I think as is. Here's one more pic that shows a little better angle on the wheels.

Great looking truck man! I'd trim about 2" off the flaps. I'm not a big fan of taking them all the way off. Also, did you have any troubles swapping the tire pressure sensors? The user manual for my truck says if you get new rims, you have to get the sensors re-calibrated or something:confused:

The tire place that installed my rims took the old ones off and put them in my new wheels. I haven't had any problems with it yet? As far as being recalibrated..Im not sure. Its sounded like they got everything squared away and all is well so far..

And the tread does look alot like a bfg at. I think I like em better because they look a little more aggressive and not alot of people have em it seems..and theyre about $60 cheaper a tire.
