are you open to making custom shock mounts? as iirc with the stock mounts shocks will be limiting travel a little.

I did a quick search on that and it sounds like a good idea if I were wheeling a bunch, but since I'm not that serious I don't think it's worth the money for me. Thanks for the suggestion though.

My buddy's running 5100's with expos right now. No issues I've heard him mention. Your leafs will be handling cargo weight not the shocks btw.

I guess what I should have said about the shocks is not that they can handle the weight but instead can they handle the abuse. At any rate I decided to go with the extended 5100s and now I have to make the decision on just new coilovers for the front or go mid travel. Decisions, decisions.

I'm running those now and the travel numbers couldn't be better. With stock bumps you're using pretty much all 11" of travel the shock has. Down side is they're not revalvable and don't handle high speed we'll.......which is why I'm switching to something else.

you should be looking into shock length as much as what shock

Total Chaos UCAs, FN Five Star wheels 17x8.5 with -6 offset, BFG AT KO2 LT275/70R17, Icon 1.5-2 inch AAL, diff drop kit by Toytec, Columbia Overland dual battery setup, IBS battery regulating system with Blue Sea systems fuse block, Weathertech Mats, Skanda seat covers, SnugTop Rebel truck cap w/ Yakima gear racks
These are looking attractive to me hauling around my SnugTop shell, RTT, recovery gear, ARB fridge, and Yakima rack. Feels like at least 500 lbs. Can anyone chime in on if the load carrying capacity is as advertised for AllPro's regular expedition leaf pack?

I am running the fox 2.5dsc all pro recommends. Its a unit for a tundra. I really like it but I have about 300lbs weighing them down from the shell and storage

I have the all pro standard leaf pack with those exact Bilsteins for over two years now. Those will do great. I would suggest wheelers off-road. Those same shocks run for $190.

Edit: for that price you won't find anything better.

@2nd screen name What would you do differently if you could do it over again? I'm trying to figure out my next move for leafs and shocks, and i have a shell, steel high clearance bumper with tire swingout and recovery gear. Which springs would you go with?
