I'm in the process of ordering a Leer 100XR topper and lifting my Taco, and want to know roughly how much rear sag I should try to compensate for when I pick my lift setup.
I want to end up with a very slight rake and am planning on going with 5100's all around, Eibach coils up front (Bil's at 0.85) and either a 1.5 or 2" AAL, depending on how much sag I get from the new topper.
Anybody have any experience with this? My truck is a brand new 2014 TRD Sport DCLB.
    Thanks

+1 on the AAL being the worst option. I'm happy with my Dakar leaf packs! The rear sits higher than the front, even with the topper and a 1/2" horse stall bed mat, on the bed.

That's also an option. What are some good choices for new leaf packs? I don't plan on doing any offroading, or very minimal offroading, so I want the city and highway driving to be as smooth as possible. Also only looking for about 1" of lift from stock height with the topper on it. I don't haul or tow very often so that's not something that needs to be considered.

If I take off the 3rd leaf in that pack will it sit at around 1-1.5" higher than stock with the topper on it?

Wheelers. I've heard Dakars are squeaky. Also I won't be needing to haul heavy loads often.

The Dakars are awesome and some guy came up with a simple fix for the squeak

The Wheelers HD pack should lift you approx 1 1/2" with your cap on

While I agree with a new leaf pack being the best option, a cheaper option can be had with hellwig helper springs, while still getting a good result. I added the 550 ez's before my topper install and I have no sag after 3 months with the topper. The helper springs actually bump up the loading capacity of your stock leafs. Helwig makes a 500lb option or 1000lb option. Easy install you can accomplish yourself.

My topper(should be hear any day) ARE cx should only weigh around 140lbs will this make the springs sag right away or eventually the springs will sag. I was thinking doing a small lift but do not want to affect ride quality(shakes) and warranty. Might call my dealership to see what they suggest. Truck is used as my daily driver and will be off road a fair amount too(nothing crazy but some great passes around me). Any suggestions

    Thanks

Wow! Is that with the D29XL AAL or just the stock CS047R Dakar leaf pack?
