I was at dealer today. Saw a 2010 dclb Tacoma with a 3 inch lift for sale. Also had a retractable set of steps on the side (which were pretty trick). They really didn't know much about the lift so I went crawling around under it. I loved the stance. Looked like bilstein shocks all around with toytec spring or maybe its just a spacer. Also had a set of UCAs but could not find markings. Snapped some pics hoping someone here would shed some light on this.

It looks like a bilstein setup with toytec coils and a spacer uptop not sure about the UCA's .

Toytec Coilovers which are just Bilstien 5100s with Eibach coils assembled using machined aluminum top and bottom perches in order to make them adjustable like true coilovers, only they cannot be rebuilt.

The UCAs are Light Racing (aka: SPC).

The rear shocks are 5100s as well, but sold and branded by RCD as they sell these shocks for their kits, but they are really the same as the standard 5100 rears with the Bilstien part #.

In the rear you probably also have Toytecs 1.5" AAL which is made by Deaver.

Those coils have a spring rate of 620 and when paired with the 5100 that have a compression that’s more aggressive then the factory shocks this makes for a stiff ride. I suggest you test drive it if you are planning to buy and compare it to other Tacomas. Personally I hate buying something already modified, you tend to get shit you don’t really want and most of the time just end up wanting to replace it.

That is the exact setup I have. 4 Bilstein 5100s, Light Racing Upper Control arms (to get correct alignment). I also have a 2" AAL (add-a-leaf) in my leaf springs. If it is advertised as a 3" lift at the dealership then more than likely the front coilovers are set to .85" on the 5100s. There are 4 settings, 0", .85", 1.75", and 2.5". (If I recall correctly). Those are Eibach springs through Toytec. They provide 1.6" of lift themselves. So just add 1.6" to whatever clip setting you choose on the 5100 shock body. 1.6" to the .85" setting is roughly 2.45". Then the silver hockey puck looking thing at the top of the spring is a top plate spacer to get you to the full 3" of lift. Clean looking truck. And I absolutely love my setup. Drives just like factory if not better. I have zero issues with my setup, especially with the LR UCA's. I also installed the carrier bearing drop and the diff drop kit. Which I can't tell from your pics if they are installed on that truck. There are different opinions in the necessity of each of those, I went ahead and did it then I could remove as needed, since they are easily installed or removed. I paid (thru Toytec) $919 for the 5100s front and rear, Eibach coils (had Toytec send them already installed on on shocks at the .85" setting), 2" AAL, and the Toytec top plate spacers and the 1/4" spacer on the drivers side for the drivers side lean ( due to weight of driver and fuel tank). Purchased Light Racing Upper control arms from Headstrong Off-road for $345 shipped! Had 4wheel parts in Dallas, TX do the install, they installed EVERYTHING and did the alignment for $420. And they were awesome. I also have Spidertrax 1.25" spacers ($200) on all 4 wheels with stock 16" TRD OR wheels and 285/75/16 Cooper AT3 tires. I had to remove front mudflaps and do some minor trimming on some fender well plastic. I purchased the plates from BAMF to do the cab mount chop, but have not had the time. So grand total for my set up was roughly $1700. This may have been way too much info, just wanted to help you with some details. Hope this helps.

I may see if I can take it for a ride. That's a good idea. Mind u I have a 12. But would be cool to try it with the lift. I do think my stock set up is to soft
