just got my truck broken into last nite....
this has never happened to me before so i dont know what to do...
yes my car was parked inside my gated garage in my building with cameras.
my car is salvaged title so i dont have full coverage insurance on it. anyways the only noticeable things they took was:
    -double din stereo
    -rayban glasses
-tool bag with tools (i had just spend $100 or so on some new tools this weekened)
-all my car paperwork (insurance, registration, some car repair receipts)

i guess i could look on the brighside at least they left my Ultargage wich i just bought in a group buy
and my subwoofer with sub box which i bought from a member on here

since it looks like they cut the wiring to my stereo is it still possible to install my original HU?

    It's not a 'Yota, so...
Sorry for you loss man, it really sucks to lose all that. As far as the stock head unit, you might be able to solder it back, but just be sure to take time to rewire everything carefully and test it, didnt test mine and had to go re do it. Hope those bastards get caught too.

Hate thieves.. They should just cut their hands off if they're repeat offenders. So did the camera not catch any of that or somebody not even hear them break glass? I know under most of the garages sound travels pretty decently.

They didn't cut the wires to the stereo; it looks like they chewed them off!

Yea you can connect the stock unit back up just buy the harness online (like 5-15 bucks) and with some butt connectors connect them back up
