exhaust tip????

01 tacoma trd, looking for flat black exhaust tip?? any have pics ,know of a brand? where can i buy? and specs as in width of pipe?

 

I'm not sure if anybody makes a black exhaust tip, but i'm sure you can buy another tip and use a high temp paint and paint it black.

 

that is a option that i might have to do

 

I know you can get high temp paint at autozone.

I know RBP (Rolling Big Power) makes nice flat black tips but they're made for diesel trucks and are huge.

I know this thread is old, but just putting it out there unless anyone comes across it and looking.. I have a 2nd Gen and not sure the specs for a 1st Gen pipe but this is bolt-on from 1.75" to 2.5" inlet, 3.75" outlet, 9" in length. Gives a barely noticeable nice hum to your exhaust. $22 bucks at Auto-Zone..

I plan to cut the pipe back a couple inches past the flare (sticks out a little further then I like), then paint the stock piping high-temp flat black and weld the tip on. Just personal preference.

Also have a video with it on, taken with my iPhone but gives an alright idea of how it sounds...

 

I've used the high temp paint for headers as well and it has always worked awesome, It holds up like a champ.

 

I wonder how that flat black exhaust would look on a BSP Taco?

 

what size pipe ? is it a 2.50 inch tip I should buy ?
