Just curious to see what people have to say.
I put this kit on my 2013 taco. Lift specs say it can fit 33-11.50 tire max.when I had it installed the techs said there is no way I could get 33s to fit. So I went with 265s.

Wondering what other people are running if they have this kit. Also wondering if you think I could fit nitto mud grapplers 33-12.50/17 with wheel spacers.

    Any suggestions?

Here is mine with the Ready lift you are talking about. I have the 265 Duratracs. But I really like Beads set up for tires there. Will get a set next year.

    Hello all,

First post on here. I'll be getting the 3" Readylift SSL/2.5 Skyjacker AAL installed this week at a local shop on my 09 TRD Sport DBCab. Only reason I'm going with this and not the other's mentioned is because 1.) It's my daily driver/minimal off-road use and 2.) guy at the local shop mentioned getting anything other then a leveling kit would require me to purchase 18" wheels because of rubbing issues? I currently have 265/70/R17's BF All-terrains on the truck. Is this true? I would much rather prefer the OME, Billstein 3" lifts. Thanks!

That's a bunch of crap! I have the same lift ready lift sst and wish the guy at my local shop hadn't talked me out of the bilsteins. Now 2 years later I'm doing it all over again. It looks and rides just fine but as times gone by the urge to do wheeling has grown greater and this setup just won't do. I'm running 285 75 16 trail grapplers without any issues but my wheels (countersteers) do have a 4.5 backspace. 4afc7a355cf637327519c0bc3b9ffdc0_345cc0b0a9d103e5626c8f4845d5736b9608f98d.jpg

Oh and I did have to do some plastic trimming in the wheel well, but nothing major.

ERMB, great looking truck and thanks for the quick response! Is the only reason you're thinking about switching because you want to wheel? Does the Readylift vibrate or anything? And did you go with the block or AAL? I thought that was a bunch of BS as well, he mentioned something about having to buy a wheel with a +18 offset or something when going with an actual lift?

I went with the block, but that eventually will come out too. No vibes at all it came with the diff drop kit too. As for wheels I had my stockers on there for over a year and no problems at all I did run spacers with them though, but that was strictly cosmetic. Currently running 16 x 8 with 4.5 bs on the wheels. Lastly, yes the set up change is because I want to wheel and get an aftermarket front bumper.

Just called the shop back and purchased the Toytec 3" lift instead...Thanks for the info!

Hard to believe I was going to get a spacer kit after being on TW for a little while now. So glad I didn't go with the spacer kit. Ended up purchasing the 3" toytec lift with the Eibach coil and Bilstein 5100s on all 4's. Sticking with the toytec AAL in the rear and stock UCA's for now. Getting it all installed next Tuesday. Thanks a lot for all you input and knowledge.

Good to hear! Eventually, I want to get 285/17/70 Duratracs. Do you know if those will fit without new UCA's or wheel spacers? I understand I will probably have to take off the front mud flaps.

Make sure you have at the most 4.5 back spacing stock wheels need wheel spacers there's a couple that will work without just check on back spacinging if you go up that size

I'd prefer keeping the stock wheels, but who knows by the time I actually get the tires. Thanks!

Was considering that size with the BF Goodrich A/T's. Currently have 265/70/17's. Hopefully they don't look too small with the lift.

When I need new tires I'm definitely leaning towards getting the 285's.

    Bilstein 5100’s (x4), 275/65/20 Cooper XLT AT3’s
I had 275/70/17 before my current tire. Size was perfect with full 3" Of lift I had.
My BFG's sucked though, they make the Coper ST Maxx in a 275/70/17
Guys, take some actual measurements of your tires and post here vvv you'll be surprised at the actual sizes
