Bumper is a shrockworks bumper, was about 1400 delivered. I picked the Skid plate up a while back off TW, quiet a bit beefier than stock. Plan on attaching it directly to bumper to prevent it acting as as shovel with steep approaches.

Is there any hidden getaways around our area with hot springs that someone might keep secret? Just got back from camping out in nakusp, had an awesome time with good friends now looking for another hidden gem to explore. Possibly sloquet if nothing closer. And how was the hedley trip boys n gurls?

Sounds like you got it all planned out, you can do the Hedley mines in a day if you want. depends on how much you want to explore really.

Compton, you got your CMC done correct? did you do it yourself or was there a shop that did it? im looking to get mine done.. willing to pay

Actually quiet easy once u know what your doing. I purchased the plates off off TW http://www.tacomaworld.com /forum/bay-area-metal-fabrication/192527-b-m-f-cmc-plates-cab-mount-chop.html
Instructions are pretty vague but after many Beers AND Alotta Humming AND hawing we figured it out. I'm not very experienced with any mechanical and was able to do it fairly easily minus my terrible welding (Learned on the fly with this project))

If you have access to a grinder and welder id be more than willing to assist you any way needed. (My old mans shops on the coast in port kells so not much help.) Mine turned out great after a shot of undercoat you wouldn't even know it's been done.

The CMC is really quite simple once you get in there. I've never touched a welder, so I had a friend do it for me. Here's a pic just after he finished welding in the driver's side plate. After chopping it, we just took a metal sheet, drew out the rough shape with a Sharpie, cut it a bit big and then grinded it down to fit. I've now painted it over with some rubbarized rock guard, as Compton said, you wouldn't even know unless you were looking for it.
