So just purchased new tires without doing all of my homework. I know stupid mistake. Now the problem I'm running into is that once I mount the new tires on my stock wheels the tire hits the upper control arm.

My buddy is trying to get me these wheels

But the offset is -6mm. Is that enough for the tires to clear?

These are my stock rims on my truck now. As you can tell I was able to fit the tires on the rear ok, but the front was a no go.

I need quick help as I'm trying to get these tires on today. Thanks in advance for helping out.

That might be my only option if I want to get this done quickly. I've been looking at the price of some spacers and they're about half the size of some wheel sets. I can get this particular set of wheels for about 300 and some spacers are literally half of that.

That's the problem I'm having. The offset is -6mm, I don't know if that's correct. I would love to mount the tire and check it, but if it doesn't work I can't return the wheel. If the -6mm offset is correct I would go and get these in a heart beat.

So I went to my buddies shop and tried fitting the wheels he suggested. Turns out it was all for nothing, these wheels in particular wouldn't even clear the brake calipers so it was a complete bust. Back to the drawing board I guess.
