So, I have a Cobra 75 wx st CB installed in my truck. I was wanting to know, is there a "push button" headset with mic that I could plug into the mic plug-in that I could listen to the CB traffic "hands free" but have a small clip on pressure button to mic over and communicate to other drivers? This may be really shooting in the dark, I just don't know why they wouldn't have something like this. Understandable if its only for more expensive radios or CB's than the Cobra 75, just seeing if anyone has come across something like this. If anything, could I plug a headset into the "speaker box" outlet to eliminate outside noise? Not crazy about the speaker box. Thanks for any help or info.

A couple images of what i'm referring too...

Yes, I know the photo to the right is of BJ Baldwin and he has a few thousand dollar radio and a unlimited fund credit card, but its just for example..

Nice! I'm liking how this one is set up, but I wonder if I can convert/re-wire the headset to a more heavy duty headset, these look like they could be smashed fairly easily if sat on or caught on something. Thanks for the reply and info Dennis! Much appreciated man!

You will definitely need a different CB if you want to run a headset.

Hm, apart from what has been posted, I guess I will probably run with what I have now and start looking around for a CB with more options. Thanks for the input Nathan!

The 75 is a great radio, I have one as well, but you can't upgrade it like you want. Good luck with finding a new setup. Folks around here will be more than happy to take the 75 off your hands when you're done with it too.
