I have the Inno 102 bed rack system on my truck and just bought a Yakima Rocket Box 12 to put on it. I am going to use it mainly in the winter to hold gear going to and from the mountain as well as camping/hiking gear in the summer. Just wanted to see if anyone else is using this system and how they like it? Post up pics if you have them too! Thanks!

Just purchased a set. Need to get my hands on a set of Thule or Inno bars. Once I do I will be temporarily mounting a Yakima basket over the bed for increased storage and organization. I have an upcoming mini off road mounting excursion coming up!:)
I will add my assessments to this post upon installation. Long term plan is to install a Thule track system along with a Bak Roll X cover.

    Looks nice!
Extra secure storage for the winter gear.
That might be a good winter setup for my snowshoe equipment.:)

    Hi Pete,

Finally got it set up. Learned a few things!
The top one is the final install pick (minus some black paint;)).
I had got the INNO kit off ebay missing one of the eyebolt and square plate parts. Got a great deal and figured I would use one of my t-slot nut and bolts to replace. Found out the bolt was too big and I did not want to modify the bracket. Came up with the idea in the next pick. Worked with no modification!

Since I need this set up for quick removal, I decided to contact INNO to see if I could get replacement parts.
I had a very thorough response, from Franchesca at INNO, with graphics to help ensure the proper parts were identified. for $9 ($6 parts/$3 shipping) I had the replacement on the way.
As I was typing this, I received an email from Franchesca to follow up on the shipment!
    Great customer service. Highly recommended.

While setting this up, I decided to go with a expo type bed rack (will better suit my needs). So.... the kit will most likely go back on the market!

Pyrite - Thanks for the info, that was a great idea with the bed cleats. I might try that with mine so that it easier to quickly adjust the distance of the bars. Looking forward to see your final set-up!

I like the mounting hardware of Thule better than Yakima but I like the Yakima skybox MUCH better than the Thule box. I've had both and I like the hinge for the lid a lot better on the Yakima box and the latch/lock mechanism on the Yakima box, IMO, is much better but I like the Thule mounting hardware the best.

Hey man I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for but Eric from Relentless Fab makes some bars for the bed. I attached my ski rack to do them. You can attach basically anything to them, and they are pretty beefy. I highly recommend them. Good luck!

Nice set-up, I like the way you have the bars flush with the rails. The only reason I like having the bars slightly higher than the bed is so that I can have slight over-hang of the box. This allows me to fit both the box and the ski rack with no issues.

Tappytalk won't let me upload any more pics!! Rrrrrrrr :(
I run my box backwards and the curve allows it to fit without issue. I am trying to come up with a way to mount feet to the top of the box sides (without effing up the rails) so I can still use my LoPro tonneau and the rack.
If anyone has ideas, please share.

these yak boxes were made to retrofit. I drilled 4 new holes, moved the hardware, installed it and even have room to carry my canoe right next to it. I plan to load the oars, life vests, fishing poles and gear up top so there's bed room for bikes (when pulling the airstream) and other gear. cheers--ted
