Embarked on the installation of my Dakars and Icon 2.0 remote resi rear shocks this afternoon but ran into a potential issue. The driver side shock remote resi tube loosened when I was tightening the top-hat screw (it was wedged against the shock mount). I heard a very faint "pop" or "hiss" for a about a millisecond.

I re-tightened the remote resi hose to the shock body, but am wondering now if I need to have that shock re-charged?

Just got back from having the Icon looked at - it's good and up to pressure. He even checked the other shock and both are nuts on for PSI. So not sure what happened above, but all is well.

I would say, Yes. They don't hold a large volume of gas, so a split second can evacuate all the charge.

That's what I figured, I'll get it in Monday or Tuesday for a re-charge. It should be good temporarily until I can get it recharged, right?

Define "good". I don't think it will loose any more charge.

I would charge them. Mine are set at 110lbs. If you drive them is might mess up the floating pistons in the reservoirs.

10-4, I'm meeting with a cat here in the area tomorrow who is gonna check the pressure and recharge (for $20) if needed. It's not leaking oil, and has been driven minimally, so less than a 100 miles.

    Fortunately, I have a work rig. :D
