I know you said custom color balance, but try just a tunsten color balance, if you have a seperate flash, pop it off over a few seconds on different parts of the truck. Do it right and you can have a spot/flood effect on your focal areas. If you shoot in RAW, color balance doesnt matter, you can always change it in processing. You just reminded me of a shoot I wanted to do for ages but never found myself the time to do it. Watch out for the next contest :)

I don't have an external flash...I try to shoot in RAW as much as possible, but my version of Photoshop doesn't recognize my camera's RAW format. And i don't like Lightroom too much...

Lightroom is so much nicer than regular photoshop. I love it. I can process photos individually so much faster, and batch processing is ALOT faster for me.

What OS are you using that it blue screens? Blue screens are usually due to a hardware failure, you may need better memory or something.

Yeah, its nicer...but different...im not a fan of change...I know what I'm doing in Photoshop, and don't really do much batch editing...

    I use Windows 7 Ultimate.

    Proc: AMD 1090T
    MoBo: ASUS Crosshair III Formula
    RAM: 4x4GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600mhz
    GPU: XFX 6990
    HDD: 2x Kingston V+ 128GB SSD RAID 0

I cant upgrade anymore without taking out a second mortgage...:(
anyways...IDK what it is...but I cant install it without my computer getting upset...

I'm going to format tonight...maybe ill try again...
