Gen 1 OEM Replacement Keys

    I just bought another Gen 1 but it only came 1 key which is probably a copy of a copy of an original. Is there any way I can get an OEM key made? Not sure if the dealer, locksmith or some other company can make one based off the VIN?

    Called the dealer and the only way they will cut a key is by the VIN. Thanks for the info.

    I use a copied key and keep my original stored away. The Axxess+ 35R is the key blank for Gen1 (with black grip). no chip so at least it's a cheap copy from anywhere they make keys.
