I have a 2007 toyota tacoma i just bought in feb. heres how i installed my cb radio in my truck.

i put a bored in between passenger seat and console and i ran the power and ground wire into cab through a hole on right side of firewall and ran roof antenna down under left side of cab through a rubber plug and up into cab and over to cb radio.

i am posting some pics to show how i did it.

I'm about to finally install mine. I was thinking about going through the firewall too. Seems like just about everyone goes through a grommet in the floorboard.

Any reason you can think not to run the antenna coax through the firewall too? Heat?
