I have a backup camera on tailgate and monitor on radio face inside. Is there anyway to adjust camera to see ball and trailer tongue as I'm backing into position to connect the trailer?

NEVER MIND IT WORKS FINE, MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE ACCURACY OF BEING TO LINE UP BALL AND HITCH..:D

It kinda already does that. Are you asking about when the tailgate is down? If so, then no. I have pondered on how to make it happen with the tailgate down but no luck yet.

Mine does that now. I've always backed up fine with it where Toyota put it.

I'll have to try it out (just got it) by looking at the camera location it doesn't seem like it would point down far enough to actually see ball and hitch alignment.

There was room beside the handle to drill a hole in handle trim.

It's easy to use the camera to align the hitch from side to side, but knowing when to stop reversing so the ball is at the perfect spot under the trailer tongue is harder since you can't see it in the camera when it goes under the tongue. I put a small whiteout stop line on the top of the exactly where the forward edge of the tongue is over it (from the camera's angle of view) so I can see exactly when to stop reversing with the camera - perfect front/back and side alignment in just one try now!

Balls are round and the trailer is onwheels7, you just need to have the hitch roughly in the right spot and it will center itself .
