Agreed 100% I am not a hashtagger. Don't know where it came from. Like I said this place is making me loose it.

I feel your pain. Looking through my old posts I kept saying over and over that the truck was going to remain very stock for quite some time. Looking through my build thread - I lied. Sliders are going on this weekend and Thursday marks owning the truck for a year haha.

I've got an "older" style bare aluminum fuel tank skid plate (has drainage holes in the bottom) that I am looking to get rid of quick. $165 shipped in the US! Regularly $270 plus shipping. Perfect condition!

Josh, I see your sliders are bolt on. Can these be used as a hi-lift jacking point? Otherwise, is there plans for a weld on option in the future?

Just thought I would post a pic of Josh's sliders with Kickouts and fill plates as an option.

He is awesome to work with.

Just finished spraying primer on them...

the sliders look great with high quality and craftsmanship but I honestly have never seen any sliders bolt or weld on that didn't have gussets for added protection. I just thought it was interesting that's all.

Ps for those that don't know what a gusset is. This is a gusset.
Just never seen sliders without them. Helps keep the sliders from bending up towards the vehicle when all the weight is on them pushing up like resting on a rock or hi lift.

I will see how they hold up and report back.

hopefully there will not be too much flex.

    hack job

My sliders looked like that too..

The gussets didn't come welded onto the sliders they came separately. I'm sure these include gussets as sliders are kinda pointless without em

Anyone have noisy skid plates? My plates seem to pop when flexing the truck. I think the noise is coming from the plates. The truck only has 20 thousand on it. Any ideas?

I'm local to Josh and bought some plates (aluminum variety) for my 2014 Taco from him about a month ago. I can vouch for the great design and quality of his plates. I love mine! If I needed some I would definitely jump on this one!

I do still have several of these aluminum plates left and Yes! I would be glad to sell them individually. I'll do 20% off of these if purchased individually.

Also, I have TONS of fuel tank skid plates so for anyone who needs one of those please take advantage of this! (We don't have them for DCLB, sorry!)

Just received my skids. That was some quick shipping to Hawaii. There was one problem with the shipping. The UPS guy pulled up to the house with my wife right behind him. I live on a small street so she sat there and watched all the boxes come off the truck. Boxes she was not suppose to know about. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to check them out:(. Thanks Josh, can't wait to mount them.
