This isn't going to be much of a build thread as compared to most others, I'm sure. But, nevertheless, here's my contribution. It's probably more for me to go back and look at than anything, I suppose.

I traded my 2004 4Runner Sport off for this 2014 Baja Taco about a week ago. I'm going to miss my 4Runner but it was 10 years old and it was just time for a change of scenery for me.

As of June 19, 2014 (right after purchase):

Well, I had found a scratch that I was pretty certain happened during the detail when I bought it. I've now had a Toyota Camry loaner car for over a week because, when they tried to buff it out, they made it look worse.

So, they had to order a new molding and send it to paint. The service guy, who's been super nice, is pretty certain it will be ready on Monday afternoon. I sure hope so...I'm real sick of driving the Camry. Nice car, but...it's a car.

Good looking truck! I personally would not make a big deal about a scratch it will happen sooner than you think. Also black shows every scratch that happens that is why I am glad I got gray it is better but anyways good looking truck.

Thanks! I made a big deal about it because the dealer did it. If I had done it, I would have lived with it. But, since it was a new truck and they did it...they are obliged to fix it. :D

Well, after the dealer having my truck for nearly two weeks, I finally have it back. They tried buffing out the scratch but they made it worse. So they had to order a new part, have it painted, then install it. Took entirely too long. But, it's scratch free...for now.

So there I was...blacking out my badges with Plastidip. I was peeling it away and my finger nail caught on it. So I had to pull it off. I ended up pulling it off like this. HA! :D

Got a wild hair up my arse tonight and ordered a color matched grill assembly from Camelback Toyota. This will not make the wife happy.

It will be a while before the Clazzio's come in. 10 to 18 weeks is what I was told. So that puts it sometime between the end of August and the end of October. :(

Got my color matched grill in today! I'll probably install this weekend. Anyone wanna buy a chrome one? :D

Bumper...your time as chrome or even being on my truck is limited. You're on the clock...
