Double posting this to the FB as well. Found a dead mouse in the cabin air filter area. The gap is too small for me to reach and I'm afraid pliers will rip him apart leaving the torso unreachable. Need help!

    No biggie.
    See this all the time.
Get a new cabin filter from the dealer. Cut the box about a 1/4 inch around the edge. Fit the cardboard under the filter slot and slide it in. Cut to adjust as necessary. Hold on to the cardboard and slide out the filter. Mouse will fall on the cardboard. Take the stuff off the cardboard with a vacuume etc. the remove the cardboard.

Thanks Mike. Got him out in the meantime and I wish it had been that easy. Unfortunately he wedged himself in the air door. Had to drop the blower fan and pry the air door open to pull him out.

I don't think a Shop vac would've done it. He was very stuck and I had to maneuver him out just right so as to not rip his head off.

I have pics to prove it.. Lol

Once in a while we get a stuck one like you had. You closed the door on the poor guy while he was trying to escape.
When they get stuck in the wheel and split into 20 pieces is when it takes a little more time.
Glad you got it out. Check the cowl for any nest stuff.

Will do. Looks like most of the nesting was on the filter itself though. I'm not too sure I killed him. I think he trapped himself. I haven't driven the truck in 3 days but either way, he got what he deserved.
