Welp I got bored last week and started pricing everything out. I decided to buy everything and the last of it got to my house today! Monday 6/23/14.

Just at the point that I'm at now I would of just bought one from HomerTaco. I can tell already he's not really making money from doing Satoshi Grills it's more for us.
    Here's HomerTaco's Grills

I just like little projects to do on my days off and if it's for my Tacoma it makes it even better!

I might make one more since my stock grill is still on my truck or just leave it stock.

My brain kinda hurts (Fumes) and body's sore clocking out for today.

    Good Night.

    Day 2
    More body filler
    [IMG]
    Primer and sanded again.
Light 1st coat of flat black.
    2nd coat.
Whole light coat in flat black. (most of it will be covered)
JB Weld on the back tabs to hold the 2 pieces of the grill together.
    Just about done.

I test fit it and had to cut some mesh out of the triangles.
I'll try to get a picture on my truck, but it's dark out...

It looks awesome!!! I'll try to get a picture tomorrow after work if there's some daylight left.

Will update this post as I continue.

I kinda agree with you, OP. I just finished mine yesterday, and now I'm waiting on my shops burn table to get back up and running so they can burn out my lettering. My mesh came in yesterday and as soon as I got home from work I started cutting the metal to size and I quickly came to realize why these grills cost so much for someone to make as mine was aggravating. Big shout out to HomerTaco for all the information I gathered on how to complete this, and for pumping these things out like a machine.

    I used "JB Kwik Weld".
    This stuff.
Make sure it's the yellow and black tubes. They dry "Dark Grey" close black and set pretty fast so just use a little bit at a time.

Want me to take a picture of the back of the grill today?
Of everything I JB kwik welded, the triangles, grill, and emblem.
