    A lot of stuff.
Ok, most of you like me are pretty meticulous about our trucks. Some friends refer to us as Type A, I tell them no, we are Type A+ .. and we loathe incompetence with our truck.
Ok, back to the Weathertech, I still think this is an excellent if not the best choice for floor protection. With that said, here is my issue.
The drivers side floorliner is perfect, just like they say on the website "Digital laser measurements of interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit." However the passenger side has a 1/4" gap closest to the seat.
I spoke with Sarah Lange Weathertech on this, her response:
"Overall, the fit of the passenger side looks great tome. The edge near the seat does seem to be slightly warped inward, but this is easily fixed. Simply remove the part from the vehicle andflex the edge back with your hands a few times. This is generally all ittakes to correct that type of issue"

    My response:
While I appreciate yourperspective on the issue, the question I have is.

On the Driver’s side, were thematt turns upward at 80 degrees, the bend is securely in the groove of thecarpets upward change with NO GAP.

I don’t think you understand theissue, while I don’t think you will remedy the problem and fix the mold for thepassenger’s side. I can bend the top part, sure, all that does is HIDE’s thefact that the bend in the floorliner does not match up to the bend in carpet –it does on the driver’s side, why not the passenger’s side?

I do appreciate your response, however if you are in sales, would you please forward my email and photos to“engineering” those who designed the floorliner and ask why the gap. It seemsto me it would have been just as easy to have the “Laserfit” done correctlythan not.

I have heard nothing back, What would you do?

Dude, they look pretty damn good to me. The fit gets better as they wear in too, I think your expectations of a molded floor mat are somewhat unrealistic.

Yours may have even got bent during shipping, my huskys were warped like crazy upon arrival.

Yeah man hate to break it to ya but, they look just like mine. I have a 13' with the new style clips and there is that gap. Your passenger side looks a lil bent from shipping. It'll straighten back out after some sitting in the sun. I wouldnt be disappointed..the protection aspect is still there. Love my weathertechs :)

As stated above, they look pretty good. If it gets to you that much see if you can return them and put the stock mats back in. If you are as particular as it sounds you won't ever be dirty enough to necessitate the Weathertech mats anyway. But that's just my opinion.

You would think that for $200 floor mats, WeatherTech would have gotten it right.

I'll stay with my $65 Rugged Ridge.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Wait until they get broken in or at least good and hot in a closed vehicle in the summer. I think that you will find that they will fit better, and if not, they still look pretty good to me. I'm pretty OCD about my vehicles too and to me they don't look bad. How about if you warm them up with a hair drier and shape them?

Do they come with any double sided Velcro tape? If not , you could get some but regular wear and a hot day should take care of it for you.

I paid $165.00 for my Weathertechs and they fit just fine. Take them any day over Rugged Ridge and their "universal" rear junk.

Just wait until your leaf springs break and the frame rusts apart. You'll forget all about this.
