So I was having some problems with one of my rock lights. The ground had come loose and I fixed it, big deal. I go to close the hood, doesn't close all the way. No pressure on interior hood release so I go to the release in the grill. It pops and I raise the hood. The wire I had just fixed was inside the main latch. So I pull it out and I go to close the hood back. Same result. I open it again, go to the cab, pull the latch, it clicks partially open but not enough to get the hood down Can anyone please tell me A) What could have possibly happened (please don't tell me an 18 gauge wire destroyed my metal latch) B) how much does a new hood latch cost and where to get one (preferably besides the stealership) I've searched to no avail on the World Wide Web.
