You mean to tell me Booger died in that explosion? The utter failure that was his life lives on in this HVAC monstrosity of a Dodge, it must be killed with fire.

No money, all went to truck...
is it more about traction than HP?

I've seen ATRAC tacomas in some of these videos do some impressive things

Pulling is more about traction and torque. HP comes into play too, but only if you're revving higher than you should be in a pull-off.

The ATRAC does a good job of slip prevention, which is why the Tacomas equipped with them can sometimes pull out of their weight class. As soon as a wheel slips, ATRAC shuts it down until it's got traction again. Keeps you from wasting all your power spinning the one tire with no traction.

However, even with ATRAC, a pull-off is a great way to break something.
And probably the only thing more embarassing to a redneck than losing a pull-off is losing a pull-off after your truck shits parts all over the parking lot.

Don't bother reading all the comments.

I've seen two guys at the station get into arguments more than once and hook up their trucks in the back parking lot. Always entertaining and always stupid.

You know, I've never noticed before, but that looks like some pretty spectacular scenery in the background of that gif...
