Hi everyone. I am looking into getting into a 2014 Double cab with TRD off road package and I have a question: is the OEM bed organizer/divider compatible with any hard tonneau cover? That is, can I have the bed divider in at the same time with the tonneau? Is there any clearance issues, and do both items rely on the bed rails?

Thanks for your replies, and I hope to be part of this community soon!

are you talking about a bed extender? if so, that will fit with a hard tonneau. not sure on a bed divider though.

It will, I had the OE divider in there for a while under the undercover. I didn't like not being able to put long things under the cover and shut the lid. So now I have a plastic tote in the bed with my tools, straps, hitches and misc gear.

I have both the bed extender and the cargo divider (no tonneau). Think you're better off with the bed extender paired with the tonneau, the cargo divider uses the rails and sits very high.

Ziggynagy thanks for the response and I will consider the bed extender because basically it does the same thing as the cargo divider when it is folded back, right? And your point about the divider height and rails was exactly what I needed to know and I think 09TRDSpt answered that.

Thanks 09TRDSpt, I will look into an Undercover.

It's not really the same thing because the cargo divider is adjustable, the bed extender is not.

Whats more, if you flip the mount like the pic shown below, i don't believe you'd have any clearance issues with the bed cover, unless you happen to find one that sits below the bed rails. :notsure:

Hey Robman thanks for that pic. I've been interested in buying the divider.
Does the divider rotate up if I'd need to put in longer items?
I can't seem to find anything on this thing.

    Best regard

I had a bed extender in my Titan and never used it, plus it was always in the way when flipped back. I finally took it out and never missed it.

The extender is different than the divider. The Roll-Away product does flip up but reviews of it are pretty bad.

    Nice ride btw.

I'd like to use a cargo divider for easy access to my cooler so that it doesnt slide to the front of the bed under the tonneau (just pop down the tailgate and the cooler is there). But what about smaller items? It looks like the divider is narrower to account for the wheels if you want to slide it further to the front. So what if you use it closer to the back before the wheels? Can smaller items roll into the main bed through the sides (hope this makes sense)?

Robman! Can you please tell me which soft roll tonneau you have in your picture there? I'm looking for a tonneau that'll still allow me to use the OEM divider. Thanks. (Sorry for hijacking the thread!)

I just purchased the Undercover Flex Tri-Fold Hard Tonneau cover and unfortunately the OEM bed divider will NOT fit. the Tri-fold undercover tonneau cover mounts two long rails into the same rail that the bed divider fits into. this will absolutely not allow anything to attach anymore, no bed divider & no tie downs. FYI
